Browne Lab awarded HRB Investigator-Led Project to develop treatments for diabetic wounds

The Browne Lab are delighted to receive support from the Health Research Board (HRB) for a project focused on the development of antimicrobial and pro-reparative hydrogels for the treatment of diabetic wounds. The project will involve collaboration with world-leading researchers including Prof. Manuel Salmeron-Sanchez (University of Glasgow), Prof. Tim O’Brien (University of Galway), Prof. Declan Patton (Skin Wounds and Trauma, RCSI) and Dr. Michelle Flood (School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, RCSI). We will be recruiting a postdoctoral researcher and a PhD student over the coming months for this project, so please contact Dr. Browne or keep an eye on the website if you’re interested!
