Dr. Browne presents at the 21st IFAA Congress: Advancing Innovation in Anatomy and Tissue Engineering

Dr. Browne recently presented some of our groups work at the 21st Congress of the International Federation of Association of Anatomists (IFAA) in Gwangju, Korea. The IFAA brought together anatomists from around the world focused around the topic of innovative anatomy (iNNO-ANAT), which included equality and diversity in anatomy, inclusion of technology and recent advances in anatomical teaching, ethical issues in body donation, and tissue engineering.
The field of Tissue Engineering was well represented, with some very exciting presentations on biomaterial development, stem cells, in vitro models and 3d printing. Dr. Browne was an invited speaker in a symposium entitled ‘Intersection of Cell Biology, Tissue Engineering and Precision Medicine’. The talk was well received by those in attendance with some insightful questions from the audience.
