Julie delivers research update to Hollister collaborators in Libertyville, IL

Julie Gawenda, 2nd-year MSc student at the Browne Lab, delivered a research update on her and Dr. Mirella Ejiugwo’s project on “The pathophysiology of peristomal skin complications in models of ileostomy,” at Hollister Incorporated’s Global Corporate Headquarters in Libertyville, Illinois. Julie’s delivery included her recent microbiology work, as well as Mirella’s biophysical characterisation of dejecta.
Well done Julie! We look forward on expanding this vein of research with our Hollister collaborators, trailblazing the basic science research of ostomy care and incontinence.
