Hollister collaborators visit Browne Lab at RCSI
Dr Shane Browne welcomed R&D collaborators from Hollister Incorporated to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr Browne has partnered with Hollister for Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partnership and Irish Research Council Enterprise Partnership projects exploring the pathophysiology of peristomal skin complications (PSCs) in ostomates. These projects aims to help further the understanding of PSCs, identifying the causative agents and potentially leading to the development of new therapies and products to prevent and/or treat PSCs.
